DID YOU KNOW......

MOST PEOPLE ONLY USE THE TOP PART OF THE LUNGS WHEN BREATHING!


In Pilates we use 'Lateral Breath'.....
To Inhale: 
Through the nose and expand the breath into the back and sides of the ribcage whilst the abdominals draw back.
To Exhale:
Release the breath gently out through the mouth


Benefits:
Reduces stress
Creates strong core
Calms the mind
Helps back pain
Releases toxins from the body
And the list goes on...!
